I found Chopper City
via the internet after an exhaustive search of companies that
could build me a Bobber. In discussions with Dave, it was
obvious that Chopper City was way ahead of other companies in
their willingness to work with the customer and their ability to
come up with the absolute best finished product. Too many
builders had a 'take it or leave it' attitude and, as the owner
of service oriented company, I wanted no part of working with
such companies. Even although building a bike is still seen by
many as being immersed in the biker mentality with it's
attendant emphasis on 'no service, just buy it', in today's
business environment, a customer oriented approach is one that
brings home the bacon.
Working with Chopper
City has been a pleasant and rewarding experience. The bike, as
finished, is not a lot like the one we started out with as Dave
was continually putting forward new innovations and design
elements that he wanted to create and I basically let him build
the bike he thought I wanted. The process worked perfectly !! I
got a bike that I am ecstatic with and he got to create a bike
he had not previously built. All the staff at Chopper City were
very easy to work with, Dave and Sherry particularly, and it was
a very collaborative process that got the job done. I always
felt I was treated properly as a customer and that I got value
for money at the end of the project.
The finished bike is
awesome !! It now resides in Sedona, AZ where it is perfect
match for the beauty, climate and roads of the area. It garners
a great deal of attention, even from those who are not bikers,
and I am continually engaged in conversation when the bike is
out and about. The bike rides like a dream, has great handling
due to its low CG and weight and has more than enough power for
any situation. The level of finish, including paint, is
outstanding and a credit to the staff at Chopper City. I would
not hesitate to recommend their work and am planning that this
will not be the last bike I have them build.
